We took Jodie out to the gardens today for a walk in the park.
My girl is a nature lover and loves going for her walks.

As Jodie grows older, it time to start feeding her solids so that she has another food source to depend on other than milk. Breast feeding for the past few months has been no easy feat. It's getting difficult to maintain milk level when I'm not totally breast feeding. Plus, its quite a waste to pump and throw cos JD only wants BM straight from the source and not from the bottle.

Granny's birthday celebration

It's Granny's birthday today. We've absolutely lost count of how old she is. But with 2 lovely granddaughters by her side and one bun baking in the oven. Who's counting?

Granny is sure one busy lady. She spends weekdays with Elodie and her weekends are for Jodie. My only gripe is that Jodie only gets 2 days with Granny. But hey, I'll take what I can get.

I do wish that we all can stay alot closer to each other but this is a wish that will take a while to fulfill.

Our Day at the Jurong Bird Park

It's the school holidays and Jd's cousin, Elodie is staying with us for an entire week! Since hubby and I don't have to work, we brought the girls to the bird park. Apparently everyone else in Singapore seems to have the same idea too. We waited for a good hour to get into the park. However, the wait was worth the while as the kiddies had a blast. Elodie enjoyed running around in the park occasionally saying hello to the birds and JD was just enjoying watching Elodie.

Sleep training was always on my agenda, for the past few days, I've been trying to get JD to fall asleep by herself. It usually takes about an hour for her to fall asleep but there's always satisfaction when she finally goes into snooze-dom.
